Grumblor - Zorpantheon kaiju

GRUMBLOR
The permanently unimpressed one

Grumblor arrived at the edge of the Hollow City long after the mecha guardians had already claimed it, and he has never once acknowledged their claim as valid. He doesn't rage. He doesn't rampage the way the younger kaiju do. He simply sits at the perimeter, arms crossed, watching the wall, and waits for the moment the guardians slip.

He has seen mecha rise and fall for longer than any of them realize. Ironkai's predecessors. Machines that stood exactly where Ironkai stands now, certain of their own permanence, until they weren't. Grumblor finds their confidence almost funny. Almost.

When he finally moves, it isn't with speed or spectacle. It's with the slow, absolute certainty of something that has never once needed to hurry. He doesn't need to break the wall in a single strike. He can afford to wear it down, city by city, guardian by guardian, for as long as it takes. The mecha call him the patient one, and mean it as a warning, not a compliment. Ironkai is the only one who's fought him and lived to hold the line again. Neither of them talks about what that fight cost.
